LOGICAL THINKING

LOGICAL THINKING

Many times in the field of education one may focus on the basic elements of math and english. while general concepts of logical and critical thinking are neglected. when one analyzes the importance of logical thinking, there are many benefits associated with the holistic educational growth of the child, which must be groomed and nurtured for educational success. The responsibilty is usually left on the shoulders of the teachers to create interactive and interesting ways to bring about this logical development. This site is the perfect accessory to aid in bringing about that logical form of thinking. The game of Checkers and Tick-tack-toe are the perfect games to bring about that aspect of thinking and reasoning, which can be used for children of all ages. Through these games children will look at situations in a different light and examine all aspects of probleming solving. This trait can be applied throught education as well as daily life activities. The fact that we are in the computer age a computer based game will draw their attention and teach them valuable lessons in life while having fun. Dr. Karl Albrecht says that "the basis of all logical thinking is sequential thought. This process involves taking the important ideas, facts, and conclusions involved in a problem and arranging them in a chain-like progression that takes on a meaning in and of itself. To think logically is to think in steps." The games of Checkers and Tick-Tack-Toe are excellent examples that support Dr. Albrecht theory and the holistic developmnet of the child.
