Within the education system of Trinidad & Tobago, especially in the earlier years of education the main focus tends to deal with the preparation of the success at Secondary Entrance Examination. As a result of this focus many other crucial aspects of education tends to be neglected placing the students at a disadvantage. One of the most important aspects of life can be accredited to the proper mastering of the English language. When one analyzes the poor communication trends that fill our society, we usually equate such a deterred language people with a poor educational foundation within the Grammar arena. Many times in the field of education one may focus on the basic elements of math and english. while general concepts of logical and critical thinking are neglected. when one analyzes the importance of logical thinking, there are many benefits associated with the holistic educational growth of the child, which must be groomed and nurtured for educational success. The responsibilty is usually left on the shoulders of the teachers to create interactive and interesting ways to bring about this logical development.
